Grace Fellowship is a group of believers in Jesus Christ who through worship and prayer, who to serve them and to share with them the Good News of Jesus Christ, and who in a Biblically based, Christ-centered community.
REACH UP - SPIRIT LED, UPLIFTING WORSHIP
Our vision of “Reaching Up” is that by the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit, through prayer, the preaching of God’s Word, and praise time we would provide a pathway for people of all ages to be able to connect with God through worship. We will use music and visuals in a variety of ways, drama, dance, art, and personal testimony, to help all people to develop and maintain an unquenchable desire to worship our Creator and King, and that as we encounter His great love for us we will be moved to share and extend that love to others and that the glory of His name will be even more greatly exalted as others respond to His love.
REACH OUT - RELATIONAL OUTREACH
Grace Fellowship will “Reach Out” to those who don’t know Jesus Christ through genuine relationships through the leading of the Holy Spirit. To begin, we will encourage those specially equipped with the gift of evangelism to become involved with the unsaved. They will have the support of all others in the congregation as their gifts allow. We will encourage everyone to be confident and courageous when they present their relationship with Jesus Christ to a non-believer. We will provide opportunities to help with this vision by teaching how to be relational, fully supporting the efforts of the Body of Christ, and hosting or helping to host evangelism events held periodically throughout the year.
GROW TOGETHER - RELATIONAL GROWTH
Our vision for “Grow Together” is to have multiple opportunities to get to know each other in groups of varied sizes. We create activities available to all attendees of Grace Fellowship that allow us to build loving relationships, care for one another, and grow in our faith. We want to live out the “One Another” scriptures found throughout the New Testament.
We envision individuals moving from large group participation to more intimate relationships with God and others in smaller groups. We regularly host large group activities such as community projects, intergenerational activities, and fellowship meals that welcome all church attendees and visitors.
Other opportunities to grow together are through Bible study groups, youth and children’s ministries and the outdoorsmen’s club. Annually, we volunteer for our Pella Tulip Time activities where we work side-by-side to sell food along with a unique Dutch treat called a Stroopwaffel, to all the many visitors to our Grace Fellowship booth.
