Mission Statement

Grace Fellowship will REACH UP to GOD, REACH OUT to His World, and GROW TOGETHER as followers of JESUS.

Core Values

EARNEST PRAYER is essential for effective ministry.
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Colossians 4:2
• We are strengthened and energized through a deepening relationship with God.
• The Holy Spirit promises to work as we partner with Him in prayer.

JOYFUL WORSHIP is a vital part of our relationship with God.
"They devoted themselves to the apostle's teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and prayer." Acts 2:42
• God is worthy of our praise.
• Our faith is strengthened as we enter God's presence.

BIBLICAL TRAINING shapes our lives
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom." Colossians 3:16
• All are lifelong learners-children, teens, and adults.
• We are to become more like Christ in our thoughts, words, and actions.
• We will pass on the Christian faith to the next generation in vibrant ways.

REACHING OUT to others with the gospel is what God expects of us.
"How then can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone speaking to them?" Romans 10:14
• All people matter to God and therefore matter to us.
• We accept people wherever they are in there spiritual journey.

SERVICE is a reflection of Christ living in us.
"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45
• Serving others with a humble heart is our expression of gratitude to God.
• We serve best by using our spiritual gifts.
• We affirm the freedom to serve as God calls us.

MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS are a key to building community.
"This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another." I John 3:11
• Relationships develop and grow in small groups.
• All members provide pastoral care for one another.
• Accountability, vulnerability, and discipleship occur through small group relationships

CULTURAL RELEVANCE enables us to connect with people
"I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel that I may share in its blessing." I Corinthians 9:22-23
• We use contemporary music, drama, and other creative art forms.
• We are students of our culture in order to articulate the gospel meaningfully.
• We provide environments that allow the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of people.

EXCELLENCE honors God and inspires people.
". . .if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about these things. Philippians 4:8
• Excellence is doing the best you can with the gifts and resources God provides.
