4-CORNERS OFFERING TOTALS FROM FEBRUARY
The 4-Corners Offering donations from February went to CRWRC (Christian Reformed World Relief Committee) for Haiti earthquake relief work. We sent $2,506.24. Thank you for your generosity!
BASKET BABY SHOWER
Congratulations to Travis and Jean Gustafson, Big Sister Grace, and Big Brother Otto on the arrival of Greta Joy born on Friday, February 19 at 6:01 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz. and 19.5 inches long. To honor her arrival, Grace Fellowship is having a Basket Baby Shower. If you would like to give her a card and/or a gift, place it in the basket located in the foyer. It will be available through Sunday, March 14.
PORK PATTY SUPPER
We invite you to join us for a Pork Patty Supper on Wednesday, March 10 from 5 – 6:45 pm. Menu includes pork patty sandwiches, chips, potato salad, and assorted desserts. Freewill donations accepted. Then, join us at 7 pm to watch the youth race their Pinewood Derby Cars. Join us for an evening of fellowship, food, and fun.
SUPPLIES FOR HAITI TRIP
A small group from Grace is heading to Haiti on March 12 – 20. Donations for this trip will be accepted through today for non-perishable food items and used suitcases. You can place your items in the designated area located in the foyer. If you have any questions or want to know more about this trip, contact Mike or Lisa Van Sant at 641-594-4372.
4-CORNERS OFFERING FOR MARCH
For the month of March, all donations given through the 4-Corners Offering will be sent to CRWRC (Christian Reformed World Relief Committee) for Chile earthquake relief work. Restoration is underway after a catastrophic earthquake hit Chile in February measuring 8.8 on the Richter scale. Donations will be used for emergency supplies such as food and hygiene kits.
We encourage everyone to bring a dollar every week to deposit into the boxes located in the corners of the Worship Center during the normal offering.
THE JOURNEY TO WHOLENESS IN CHRIST CONFERENCE
You are invited to experience The Journey to Wholeness in Christ conference led by Conlee and Signa Bodishbaugh on April 15-17 at Third Reformed Church. Through spiritual worship, Biblical teaching, testimonies, and healing prayer, The Journey to Wholeness in Christ enables you to move into the wholeness God makes available to all His children in Jesus Christ. Come apart from your usual routine and invite the Lord to heal, restore, refresh, and bless you during this exciting conference. PRAYER WALK SMALL GROUP
The Prayer Walk Small Group will not be meeting next week Sunday evening, March 14. It will resume again in April.
DONATIONS FOR THE DAVIDSON/MEYERS BENEFIT
A benefit for Ian Davidson and Curtis Meyers, who are both being treated for cancer, is planned for Saturday, March 27 at the Vermeer Pavilion. (See the Community Announcements for detailed information regarding this event.) They are asking for donations for this event. If you are interested in donating items, see the sign up located in the Information Corner. Monetary donations are also being accepted—checks payable to Heartland Reformed Church Benefit. Deadline for donations (except cookies/bars) is Sunday, March 21 and can be dropped off at Grace in the designated box. Cookies and bars can be dropped off at Heartland Reformed Church on Friday, March 26 or the Vermeer Pavilion by noon on Saturday, March 27. Daylight Savings Time begins next week Sunday, March 14. Don't forget to "spring forward" your clocks one hour on Saturday night.
